Can I forward invoices by email?
Yes, with a free account. Each account has its own email address: forward invoices to it, or give it to your suppliers and set up a forwarding rule in your inbox. Every PDF or image attached is processed automatically and shows up in your account, just like documents sent by WhatsApp or uploaded.
Does it work with scanned invoices and phone photos?
Yes. Text PDFs, scanned PDFs, JPG and PNG all work. A photo needs to be in focus and show the whole invoice; the confidence score next to each field tells you when the image made a value hard to read.
Does it read invoices in other languages?
Yes. The model reads the invoice instead of matching a fixed template, so invoices in English, Spanish, German, French or Italian all work, and amounts come back as plain numbers without the currency symbol.
Can it extract the invoice line items?
The free tool extracts the header fields. In an account you define your own template, and a field can be a table: each invoice line comes back as a row with the columns you choose, such as code, description, quantity and price.
What happens to the files I upload?
The file is deleted from our servers as soon as extraction finishes, and the extracted data is deleted automatically after 30 days.
Can my clients send their invoices over WhatsApp?
Yes, with an account. They send the photo or PDF to the WhappScan WhatsApp number and the data lands in your account, ready to export. They don't need to install anything.
